After a year of COVID, 2022 was a rebound year for the car community, with many car events and shows coming back after some time off. The past year has been a hard rebound for the car community all around, but that hasn’t stopped many events from trudging full speed ahead to some great events. From Formula 1 Miami to many months of Supercar Saturdays, celebrating the world-famous car collector Elo’s 50th birthday at Supercar Rooms Miami, and many more events, there is still more to go for the year. Here are some of the best events to end 2022 with the local car community.
Exotics on Dania Pointe
In past years, the nationally recognized event Exotics on Las Olas has moved to a new location — Exotics on Dania Pointe. This year’s promise of a new location isn’t a far move from its original location, still maintaining the air of high-end shops and restaurants we’ve come to know and love. Car collectors and enthusiasts from all over the country come together for a display of one of the best events in South Florida. It’s free to attend the event as a spectator and you can also register your car for the event. Exotics on Dania Pointe, November 13th, 2022.
Supercar Saturday
The second Saturday of every month — rain or shine — is Supercar Saturday. Held at Pembroke Gardens this event continues to bring new and exciting cars every month, with a variety of extremely rare supercars and hypercars like the Bugatti Chiron, McLaren P1, Ferrari F40, and Koenigsegg CCX having been spotted in just the past few months. If you’re traveling into town for Exotics on Dania Pointe, there will also be a Supercar Saturday on the Saturday before, November 12th, 2022.
SEMA
Although not local to South Florida, SEMA is one of the biggest events remaining for the year. Held once a year in Las Vegas, SEMA is one of the biggest collections of car enthusiasts, builders, experts, and brands. SEMA is not open to the public but if you are eligible to attend it’s worth the trip.
